I was not the one in my house that started the whole Sugar Glider...thing.  This is all my daughters fault.  She wanted a snake for Christmas!  The answer was no.  So she decided she wanted a Sugar Glider.  We did some quickie research and realized that Spandex needed a friend.  After several months I became more active in the glider community and realized there was a huge need for rescue homes.  I began to take in rescues on a small scale.  I started making glider things as a way to help support my needy babies.

Now I realize the way to help prevent those rescue situations, education is key.  The more you learn about your glider, the better equipped you are to handle their many needs.  And there are many needs.  They are simple in a lot of ways, and very complicated in others. 

Join me in this amazing journey of knowledge.  I don't know it all.  I have learned quite a bit from the gliders that live with me.  And I have learned a LOT from other experienced glider owners.
